Terms of use

Last updated: 7 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Edition Education when you use our website and free resources. Please read them. By using Edition you accept them.

1. Who we are

Edition (Edition Education) is an independent publisher of guided revision workbooks for iGCSE English, based in the United Arab Emirates. You can reach us at hello@edition.education.

2. What we provide

At the moment we provide a free revision workbook, The Danger of a Single Story, as downloadable PDFs, given in exchange for joining our email list. We will add more workbooks over time, and some may be paid. When paid products or online accounts are available, they will have their own terms, shown to you before you use them.

3. A companion, and what it is not

Our workbooks are a companion to the Pearson Edexcel iGCSE English Language A anthology. They guide you through key quotations and the writer’s choices; they do not reproduce the full extracts, and you will need your own copy of the anthology (available free from Pearson). Edition is an independent publisher and is not affiliated with, authorised or endorsed by Pearson. ‘Edexcel’ is a trademark of Pearson Education Ltd. Our resources support your study; they are not a substitute for a teacher, and we cannot guarantee any particular exam result.

4. Who can use Edition

Our sign-up is intended for people aged 13 or over. If you are under 13, please ask a parent, carer or teacher to use Edition with you. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent, carer or teacher is happy for you to sign up.

5. Using Edition fairly

You may use our resources for your own study or teaching. Please do not resell them, share your downloads, or upload our materials elsewhere, and please do not misuse or try to disrupt the service.

6. Our content and your licence

All Edition content — the workbooks, text, design and icons — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright. When you download a workbook, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own study or teaching. Any quotation of third-party material within our workbooks is included for the purpose of criticism, review and quotation, with acknowledgement, under the fair-dealing provisions of copyright law.

7. Free and paid resources

Our current resources are free, provided as described, at no cost. When paid resources become available, the price and what you get will be shown clearly before you buy, along with any terms that apply to them.

8. Availability

We work to keep Edition available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw features.

9. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from your misuse of the service.

Our site may link to others (for example, Pearson). We are not responsible for their content or their policies.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page is the one that applies, and we will update the date above when we change it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and its courts will have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in another country, you may also have the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the place where you live.
